Unexpected Guests | Ira B. Liss Big Band Jazz Machine

The Big Band Jazz Machine, a 17-piece jazz orchestra formed in 1979 by music producer Ira B. Liss and composer/arranger Dan Radlauer, features six new songs and 11 arrangements in total, all in the form of a new album titled "Unexpected Guests," which was created in close collaboration with various musicians. Of note is the jazzy vocal performance of country music superstar Vince Gill, accompanied by a big band. Also interesting is the ukulele solo by leading Hawaiian musician Daniel Ho . . . ( Ogawa Hiroshi)

Recorded at Studio West, San Diego, CA
